I have a confession....I'm a horrible blogger!! I'm sorry!!!

But I never know what to update on...I feel like every time I update its the same kind of entry..."school is good, friends are great, etc"...and its the same now, too.

so what to say?

So maybe i'll be a little philosophical or something.

I was thinking/talking to me friends about this a while ago.

But as much as i love college, whoever came up with it came up with a horrible idea! i mean seriously, when you think about it....you put a ton of young adults fresh out of high school....hormonal, unfocused, etc,..and make them all live together. Add in some activities here and there, you know, make it really fun. Then make them go to school? and hard school, too. I mean, thats just failure waiting to happen. I think the whole plan, though, is that universities do this on purpose, so that after your first semester of failure, they take your scholarship away, then your next semester you're still trying to get better at this whole "college" thing but still end up paying a bunch of money even though you went in barely having to pay a thing!

That didnt happen to me or anything...but still...i'm just saying...

School has actually been really good to me this semester. Other than my business class. Its consuming my life. I mean, I like it...it's interesting and pretty cool. But theres so much to do outside of class that I really think I should be getting more than just 3 hours of credit for it. Come on now.

This semester is flying by!

Hello all family and friends! (mostly family)
Sorry I have been so unfaithful with my blogging, but I've been pretty busy! First of all, I'm currently in Waco, in my wonderful dorm and enjoying it. I had a good break (a long one, at that) but was definitely ready to be back by the end of it. I was very pleased that I got to spend a lot of time with my family...it was much needed. I saw my nephews almost every day, which was one of my goals...so that made me very happy. Although the sight or sound of babies here makes me miss them like crazy!! Speaking of goals, I also wanted to finally learn to ride a bike over the break ( I know, I blame my parents for never teaching me...) so one day Grant decided I needed to learn...and was very persistent about it too. He didnt let me quit! And now I'm a bike-riding machine! okay, thats an exaggeration, but basically what I'm trying to say is...I finally know how to ride a bike...finally....now that I'm 18 years old.
Anyways...this is a picture of me and my cousins Gaby and Carlos from Christmas. Sorry I look quite disguisting....I had to wake up early that day and sat in a nook of the car for three hours. Seriously, it was a nook.


The next pictures are from Baylor before I left town for a month. I went to freshman formal with the Alexas. They forced me to go because I was pretty sure it was going to be prettttty lame ( and it was $10!!!) but I'm glad I went. It was definitely a lot of fun!

This picture is from a Baylor men's basketball game. It's one of my new favorite things. Since I'm not in Dallas and definitely don't have enough money to go see my favorite team, the Mavericks, I've found my basketball fix through the free games here at Baylor. Alexa (Adams) also likes basketball....unfortunately she's a Spurs fan (booooo!) but we do like to go to the games together.

And these girls are the best! (again, excuse my grossness. I dont have an excuse for this one though) This is Chelsea, me, Alexa, and Ali. If you've hung out with me the past two months or so, you've probably heard me talk about them at some point in time. These are the wonderful girls I'm gonna be living with next year in our wonderful apartment!!! I cant WAIT!!! we are actually signing the lease this Saturday. So it will be official then. :-)

So I start school on Monday and am actually very excited! and motivated!!! I'm really gonna try to work harder this semester and do well in school. Something over the break hit me and made my realize that my education here is very important. Ha, I guess thats a good realization! Anyways, pray for me this semester and that everything will work out. :-)

Well, I'm off to shower and go to bed! I'm sleeeeeepy! And I need to get up early tomorrow and run a few errands around here.

Well hello all my friends and family!!! :-)

i know its been a month. i'm so sorry. but i've been really busy with school and such!! but i decided to take a break from my long night ahead of me (and its already 1:30 AM) of studying and studying and studying. gah!

life has been very good!! the pictures above are from the band banquet i went to on monday night. my friend alexa took me....i'm not in the band here. I thought it would make me miss my days of marching in the band but praise the Lord it did not. it was still fun though. I always enjoy opportunities to dress up and get all pretty!! :-)

school is aaaaaalmost over. i can't believe that my first semester of college is almost over. thats pretty intense. i'm really excited about next semester because i start business classes and hopefully i'll really like them! also, i feel waaaaaay more motivated about school than i did at the beginning of the semester so i'm ready to work hard next semester!!

Thanksgiving break was great...i got to see some friends which was fun (but also pretty weird) but more importantly i got to hang out a bunch with my awesome FAMILY!!!! it was soooo great. I am so blessed to have such an amazing family. seriously. but i did miss waco after my first night away. I was happy to come back. isnt that sad? I was only gone for about 4 days!! What am I gonna do over Christmas break? A whole month without WACO!!!! oh no!

but when i come back, guess what will follow immediately???? WORLD MANDATE!!!! i cant WAIT!!! it will be so great. :-)

its been a long time

my sister informed me the other day that i actually have readers! so i will try to update

school is going well. i lovvvve baylor a ton! i'm having a hard time getting motivated for the actual school part....but ya know, sometimes it happens...hehe

i've developed a love for coffee, an addiction if you would like to call it that. i cant believe like three months ago i hated it.

um lets see. what else is new with me? my life consists of school, studying, eating (probably too much, i'm pretty sure i'm almost at my 15), and church fun. Making a lot of really cool friends who are passionate for God and loving people! always fun.
